James Cordon has taken over as the new host of The Late Late Show and his first guest on Monday night was Tom Hanks.
Cordon had his eye on Hanks since last year when he revealed the actor was on his list of wanted guests.
“Someone showed me a video from the Into the Woods junket…and I’m saying, ‘Tom Hanks. I just think he’s the perfect movie star.'”
To mark the special day in Corden’s career, the duo re-enacted every single one of Hanks’ movies, from Toy Story to Cast Away. Everything was on point – from the costumes to the singing.
Hanks has made the switch to the other side of the camera. The 58-year-old is producing the film adaptation of the Broadway hit “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.”
The movie will follow the singer’s rise to fame and off-stage life.
Leia Smoudianis is a west coaster freezing her bum off in Toronto. The former (yet still very bitter) server is now selling vacuums on The Shopping Channel and hoping to get adopted by the Kardashians.
