The Lizzie Borden Chronicles premieres this Sunday and will focus on the fictional life of Borden after the acquittal.

Before Angelina Jolie’s humanitarian missions and marriage to Brad Pitt, she starred in HBO’s TV movie Gia. The movie follows the life of Gia Carangi, a top model in the 1970s who died from AIDS at 26. You might want to have some Kleenex handy for this one.
Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story
Lifetime’s Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story is based on Liz Murray’s autobiography, Breaking Night. The movie focuses on Murray who lives in the Bronx with her sister, drug addicted and schizophrenic mother, and drug addicted father who is suffering from AIDS. After being removed from her home and put into the system, she moves in with her mother and sexually abusive grandfather. She quits school, runs away, but after hearing of her mother’s death becomes a star student and eventually makes it to Harvard. Again, Kleenex is necessary.
