Comedy Central aired the long-awaited roast of Justin Bieber last night, but did it live up to the hype?
The singer was in the hot seat as celebrities like Martha Stewart and Will Ferrell took shots at him.
“Tonight we’re going to do what his parents and the legal system should have done a long time ago, we’re about to give this boy an ass-whooping that he deserves,” joked host Kevin Hart.
Hart might be the it
comedian of 2015, but Martha Stewart is the one who brought the lolz.
“Here is my final piece of advice. You need to settle down, bring some balance into your life, find yourself the right gal but she’ll have to be someone on your level, someone powerful and famous and rich, someone you can smoke a joint with or indulge in the occasional three-way. I’m talking about a playa in the boardroom and a freak in the bedroom.”
“So Justin, my final piece of advice is, call me.”
Comedian Jeff Ross, who refers to Bieber as “the King Joffrey of pop,” poked fun at the star’s previous relationships.
“Selena Gomez wanted to be here but she’s dating men now,” Ross said. “Is it true she dumped you because she grew a moustache before you?”
At the end Biebs had the last word and took it to a serious place.
“I am a kind-hearted person who loves people and through it all I lost some of my best qualities. For that I am sorry,” he said.
Has this Canadian bad-boy turned over a new leaf? Time will tell.
