Holly Madison reveals Playboy mansion was no fantasyland in new tell-all book

Former playmate, Holly Madison, has a juicy new book coming out about her days inside the Playboy Mansion – and it’s not all happy memories. The memoir, titled Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny, reveals that the blonde beauty experienced some seriously dark moments during her time inside Hugh Hefner’s world. Holly Madison book cover A release from publisher Harper Collins reads, “Life inside the notorious Mansion wasn’t a dream at all—and quickly became her nightmare. After losing her identity, her sense of self-worth, and her hope for the future, Holly found herself sitting alone in a bathtub contemplating suicide.” Curious fans likely got a well-edited glimpse of life inside the Playboy Mansion throughout five season of the E! reality show, The Girls Next Door. The show featured the weekly hijinks of Madison and fellow bunnies, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson and, of course, their shared host/lover, Hefner. Madison eagerly dished about her new book last year in an interview with Las Vegas Review Journal, stating that “reality TV isn’t really reality” and she believes “people are going to be really surprised about all the things I have to say.” Despite her former struggles, Madison seems to now have it all figured out, as she enjoys life with husband, Pasquale Rotella, and their daughter, Rainbow. The tell-all, which is sure to be a bestseller, hits shelves this June.
