Zak Bagans, the host of the Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures
and Paranormal Challenge
, just dropped over $30,000 on Dr. Kevorkian’s mobile death assistance laboratory.
Les Gold, from the reality show Hardcore Pawn
, was selling the 1968 VW van, which by the way doesn’t run. But that didn’t stop Bagans from writing a cheque for $32,500, which got him the vehicle, the original registration, and a copy of the doctor’s driver’s license. Kevorkian reportedly used the van to perform 130 assisted suicides.
This isn’t the only bizarre purchase made by Bagans. Earlier this year he spent $2,800 on the 25 gallon cauldron used by serial killer Ed Gein when he gutted his victims. Too creepy.
Bagans isn’t the only star to buy weird crap. Even some A-listers have spent their millions on really strange things.
