First moments of Once Upon a Time, Season 5 revealed at Disney’s D23, plus the evolution of Emma Swan

Once Upon a Time - feature Disney’s D23 convention has been treating us with some special treats and sneak peaks this weekend, including looks at Captain America and Star Wars and now…Once Upon a Time! During a special star-studded event, “An Evening With Snow White & the Evil Queen”, Lana Parrilla (Regina/ Evil Queen), Ginnifer Goodwin (Mary Margaret/ Snow White) and Josh Dallas (David/ Charming) joined series co-creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis for a panel discussion and autograph signing. D23 Once The show’s upcoming season has had some major hype surrounding it as exciting news has been dropped bit by bit over the summer. So far it’s been revealed that new characters, like Merida from Brave will join the cast and that our heroes will venture into yet another strange land, Camelot, as they seek out the Sorcerer Merlin in order to save Emma Swan from the powers of darkness. The D23 event also unveiled a brief clip of the first moments from the upcoming season, check it out in our evolution story of Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison)! When we last left off the unthinkable had happened, Emma made the ultimate sacrifice, saving Regina’s life and becoming…Dark Swan.
