Comic-Con is in full swing! The San Diego festival started on Thursday with thousands of people lined up for the highly-anticipated Hunger Games panel.
The panel discussion featured a new trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 and fans loved it. Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and director Francis Lawrence were all in attendance to witness the trailer that won’t be released on the interwebs until two months from now.
For now all we get to see is this teaser.
If Star Wars is more your thing, Comic-Con has that covered too. There is currently a life-size replica of Rey’s Speeder Bike from the new movie on display.
Doctor Who gave their fans some glimpses of the new season that stars Maisie Williams (Aria from Game of Thrones). The show premiers on September 19.
Eli Roth gave fans a preview of his latest horror film, The Green Inferno, which is set to debut in September as well. The movie is about a group of environmentalists whose plane crashes in the Amazon. They are met in the forest by a cannibalistic tribe. Scary!
Ridley Scott previewed his upcoming space film The Martian. He took an unconventional approach and brought in real NASA scientists who are currently trying to get humans on Mars. The movie comes out October 2.
Bill Murray was also in attendance to promote Rock the Kashbah. The actor portrays a washed-up talent manager who discovers a new musician while stranded in Afghanistan. The film comes out in October 2015.
Today the cast of Game of Thrones will take the stage to talk about season six. Oh, but Kit Harington (Jon Snow) won’t be there because of this whole issue.
Leia Smoudianis is a west coaster freezing her bum off in Toronto. The former (yet still very bitter) server is now selling vacuums on The Shopping Channel and hoping to get adopted by the Kardashians.
