Sunday’s BET Awards generated memories, laughs and feels. The three-hour spectacle honoured artists, crowned Janet Jackson as an ultimate icon, debuted Rihanna’s new video and was loaded with great moments from some of the best people in music. Nicki Minaj The star of the night was obviously Janet Jackson as tributes were made to celebrate her career and Smokey Robinson earned the Lifetime Achievement Award — between show-stopping performances and amazing presenters. Talented celebs such as Nicki Minaj, Beyonce and Terrance Howard took home serious wins. Rihanna money Rihanna provided audiences with unforgettable moments — from duct-taping Floyd Mayweather’s mouth shut to throwing money in some dude’s face and debuting a teaser for her ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ video. Basically, Rihanna was boss. The best of the hip-hop industry made magic happen at the Microsoft Theatre in LA last night — audiences were treated to awesome performances by Big Sean, Alicia Keys and The Weekend.
